Nottingham’s Home to Dance Music Stealth Begins New Chapter After Major Upgrade

Leading UK dance club Stealth has begun a new chapter opening to rave reviews in Nottingham following a major transformation over the summer.

The award-winning club that regularly features in DJ Mag’s ‘Top 100 Clubs in the World’ is returning with top of the range production to deliver a fully immersive clubbing experience. 

The ever popular weekly Saturday event Stealth vs Rescued (SvR) sees Stealth combine with fellow DHP Family venue Rescue Rooms to create one seamless club night - and the season ahead is shaping up to be one of the biggest since the club opened in 2004.

New lights and visuals designed by the inhouse team working in partnership with experiential production house Zeal Live - who have worked with the likes of Bicep, Prospa & Sub Focus - will create the optimum environment to experience all the latest dance and house music from the most exciting talent around.  

New DJ booth layouts will give clubbers an up-close connection with some of the world's best DJs and artists while the fresh interiors feature murals and mirror balls, video walls, chevron lights and LEDs across the two floors of the 660 capacity club.

Over the years Stealth has welcomed thousands of artists before they have broken through to a wider audience such as Bru-C, Bicep, David Guetta, Disclosure, Ed Sheeran, Fisher, Lily Allen, Peggy Gou & Skepta, as well as attracting huge names like Annie Mac, Fatboy Slim and Pete Tong to its intimate rooms.

DHP Family promoter Alex Kirkland, who has been part of Stealth since it began, said: “We can’t wait to get the party started and show everyone what we’ve been up to all summer getting the club ready for the new season. We’ve got some of the biggest electronic music artists performing every Friday and Saturday, so it’s shaping up to be pretty special.”

One of the key designers from Zeal project is Jake Humphries, who started his career at Stealth as a sound and light technician back in 2013. 

Jake said: “It’s great to come full circle and provide Stealth with a fantastic upgrade to keep it at the forefront of the electronic dance scene for many years to come.”

A whole new lighting and sound set up in Room 1 includes lasers, refreshed lights, a new sound system stack layout as well as an improved DJ booth set up with video wall and a new bar design. Room 2 has a new layout and upgraded light and sound systems including lasers, new LED fixtures up and over the new DJ booth and on the ceiling and video wall.

Following in the footsteps of the popular Bodega courtyard, the outdoor patio shared with Rescue Rooms has been transformed with new seating, murals, heat lamps and lighting.

The Official Nottingham Trent University weekly student night 'Stealth Tuesdays', which is a collaboration with Nottingham MC Bru-C's brand 'Bubblin', returns on 27 September.
