Nina Nesbitt re-signs to Cooking Vinyl for a worldwide recording deal

With well over half a billion streams under her belt and reeling off the highs of being featured on over 980 DSP Playlists, Nina Nesbitt has re-signed to Cooking Vinyl for her follow up to 2019’s successful ‘The Sun Will Come Up, The Seasons Will Change’, which came in at #11 on the Top New Artist Albums.

Upon re-signing Nina said ‘I’m excited to be continuing to release my music with Cooking Vinyl. I love the creative freedom and independence I have there and how hard working  and passionate the whole team are. It feels like a small family and I’m so pleased with the success of the last album. I can’t wait for round 2.’
 
Manager and CEO of VDM Music Vicky Dowdall also added ‘I’m thrilled to re-sign Nina to Cooking Vinyl. I have never experienced such creative freedom for artist and manager . Nina and I are now in our ninth year of working with each other and we have always shared the belief that anything is possible and “no” doesn’t mean we can’t do it.  It means we can’t do it with you.’

Since originally signing to Cooking Vinyl she has additionally gained playlists across BBC Radio 1 & 2 and during this she was selling out worldwide headline tours and touring with the likes of Lewis Capaldi & Jess Glynne .
 
Cooking Vinyl MD Rob Collins added “In 2016, when Nina left Island, lots of people in the industry doubted whether she had what it takes. After one meeting with her I was convinced she did and over the next 3 years we all proved that. Now being able to cement a longer term relationship means we can go up another level or two and really establish Nina as an artist that is globally successful and on her own terms.”

Nina and her team have been working hard recording new music during the pandemic and new music will be shared as soon as it’s ready.
