Neil Finn signs exclusive global publishing agreement with BMG
24 February 2020 - Press releaseRevered singer-songwriter and musician Neil Finn has signed an exclusive global publishing agreement with BMG. The deal encompasses Finn's entire catalogue featuring his iconic works with Crowded House including international hits 'Don't Dream It's Over', 'Weather With You', 'Better Be Home Soon', 'Fall At Your Feet', 'Something So Strong', and 'It's Only Natural', among many others. In addition, the deal includes his songwriting catalogue with Split Enz featuring their hit single 'I Got You', solo releases and future works.
Later this year, Finn will reunite the Crowded House live band for a headlining performance at Byron Bay Bluesfest 2020, before embarking on their first European tour in over a decade

Finn first rose to prominence with New Zealand rockers Split Enz, a group co-founded by his brother Tim Finn. Highly popular through the late-70s to early-80s, the group released seven studio albums achieving commercial success during his tenure before disbanding in 1985.
Following the breakup of Split Enz, Finn would go on to found Crowded House as the group's main songwriter and frontman, selling over 10 million albums worldwide. Crowded House's self-titled debut album, released in 1986, would go on to be certified 6x Platinum in Australia, 5x Platinum in New Zealand, and Platinum in the US and Canada. Their follow-up Temple of Low Men, released in 1988, has been certified 3x Platinum in New Zealand, 2x Platinum in Canada and Platinum in Spain. The group's third album Woodface, released in 1991, has been certified 4x Platinum in New Zealand, and Platinum in Australia, Canada, and the UK. Together Alone, released in 1993, is certified 2x Platinum in New Zealand, and Platinum in both Australia and the UK. In 2007, the group reunited to release Time On Earth, followed by their sixth and latest studio album Intriguer in 2010.
Finn's solo career includes four studio albums Try Whistling This (1998), One Nil (2001), Dizzy Heights (2014), and Out of Silence (2017). His latest duo album Lightsleeper, recorded with son Liam, was released in 2018. In recent years, Finn has been a featured touring member of Fleetwood Mac.
The recipient of numerous awards throughout his lauded career, Finn was honoured with an Order of the British Empire (OBE) for his contributions to the music of New Zealand, in 1993, while Crowded House was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2016.
