Kobalt signs Tash Sultana to worldwide publishing agreement

Kobalt, an independent music services company, built for artists, songwriters, publishers and labels as an alternative to the traditional music business model, has announced that it has signed breakthrough artist, Tash Sultana. The worldwide agreement includes publishing administration for all of Tash Sultana’s past and future songs including global synch and creative support services.

A self-taught artist and native of Melbourne, Australia, Tash Sultana is a young, compelling artist who has sold out theatre shows all over the world with no promo months in advance, including her tour of the US and Canada last fall. Her homemade videos have earned tens of millions of views. Sultana’s mastery of over 20 instruments has propelled her hit singles “Jungle” and “Notion” into radio rotation and onto major festival and venue stages around North America, UK and Europe.

In addition, Tash's recent accolades include over 100 million streams worldwide off her debut EP, a top 10 ARIA chart, topping the iTunes chart in multiple countries with the Notion EP, “Jungle” landing at #3 in Triple J’s Hottest 100 countdown and going platinum, a feature in FIFA ‘18, winning the Unearthed J Award, four ARIA awards and an APRA award nomination.
