Musiio Search uses Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) to generate fingerprints of music files and then lets you search that huge volume of music in seconds using “audio to search other audio” otherwise known as “Audio Reference Search”.
For a new and exciting catalogue like Hipgnosis, this technology can instantly give teams years of catalogue knowledge and search experience instantly. In our experience at Musiio in the last 3 years, we have found the human brain seems to top-out at remembering any more than 2,500-5,000 tracks (depending on the person), so if a catalogue exceeds even that small number, it is very difficult to know what you have.
At Musiio we believe A.I. assistance in the right hands can help the industry grow and we have seen it first hand working with Hipgnosis.
