Delia Barker has joined the Roundhouse as Programmes Director

The Roundhouse – the live venue and charity – has welcomed new Programmes Director, Delia Barker.
 
Delia joins the Roundhouse from the English National Ballet School, where she was Director. She has also previously worked with Drake Music, Boy Blue Entertainment, Theatre Peckham and Stop Gap Dance Company as well as being Chair of Studio Wayne McGregor.
 
The Programmes Director is a newly created role which oversees the music, performing arts and youth policy teams – managing both the artistic output and charitable programme delivered by the Roundhouse.
 
Marcus Davey, chief executive and artistic director, Roundhouse said; “We’re delighted to welcome Delia at such a momentous time for the Roundhouse. We’ve just celebrated our anniversary year and we have some very exciting plans over the next five years – with plans to deliver more projects for more young people whilst still delivering an incredible artistic programme. It’s a big task ahead but we know Delia is the perfect person to deliver on this ambitious vision.”
 
The Roundhouse is one of the most incredible live performance spaces in the world where the biggest names in music, theatre, circus and spoken word take to the stage every day. In addition each year, the Roundhouse also gives over 3,000 11–25-year-olds the chance to develop their skills and confidence through creativity – in music, media or the performing arts. It helps them find new perspectives and new directions, whether that’s into education, or out of a rut, or supporting their early career in the arts.  
 
Delia sits on the board of directors with Marcus Davey (chief executive and artistic director), Michael Dixon (finance director), Michaela Greene (development and communications director) and Tom King (commercial and operations director).
