Bucks inks deal with This Is Music’s new publishing company

Bucks will provide administration for management firm’s new operation

Bucks Music Group has signed an administration agreement with These Are Songs Ltd – the new publishing company from This Is Music Ltd’s Oli Isaacs, Lisa Marxen and Simon Gold.

This Is Music Ltd is a boutique management company representing artists and producers. Among the company’s current clients are producers James Ford (Arctic Monkeys, Florence & The Machine, Depeche Mode, Gorillaz) and Paul White (Danny Brown, Jamie Woon); composers Kyle Dixon & Michael Stein of Survive (Stranger Things, Spheres, Butterfly); and artists such as Bicep, Simian Mobile Disco, Roosevelt and Ross From Friends. 

Oli Isaacs, Managing Director of This Is Music, said: “Historically, we have not signed a lot of artists for management because we believe in taking time to develop projects from the ground up - but we wanted to find a flexible way to work dynamically with more of the exciting new writers and producers we come across. We want to be involved in making music at the highest level, and publishing is another great way to do that. When we were introduced to the team at Bucks, we immediately felt that they were the right people to partner with in order to build something truly excellent. We are very much looking forward to working with them.”
