Big Indie Records announce partnership with The Line of Best Fit & Pop Brixton!

Austin/London based label Big Indie Records are proud to present their brand new programme Big Indie Summer Sessions, in partnership with The Line of Best Fit, which kicks off on Wednesday, 31st July 2019 at Pop Brixton.

Big Indie Summer Sessions is a new monthly event that will enable emerging artists to grow and showcase their latest material at one of London’s most exciting new venues. The first session will be headlined by Big indie Records’ latest signing Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard, with support from Ulysses Wells (also signed to Big Indie), Tally Spear and Sam Johnson. Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard’s upcoming single Love Forever is released just before the event on 26th July 2019, which takes inspiration from 70s greats such as T. Rex and Thin Lizzy, adding an extra element of scrappy swagger to the fold.

Over the past twelve months, Big Indie Records have been running a programme called Big indie Big Nights that has featured a range of exciting new artists including CHILDCARE, The Van T’s, ST.MARTiiNS, Jackie Venson and FOURS to name a few. Between them, they have received support from the likes of Wonderland, Clash, DIY and Earmilk, as well as being featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday, Hot New Bands and New Indie Mix playlists to name but a few. With Big Indie Summer Sessions, Big Indie Records continue to gain exposure for these rising artists, entertaining the people of London and beyond in the process.

The first Big Indie Summer Sessions is on Wednesday, 31st July 2019 at Pop Brixton, in partnership with The Line of Best Fit. The next two sessions will take place on 28th August and 25th September respectively.
