Amy Wheatley Named General Manager Of Ministry Of Sound Recordings

Amy Wheatley has been appointed General Manager of MOSR, it has been announced today [18.07.17]. She is appointed with immediate effect and reports to Dipesh Parmar, Managing Director, and David Dollimore, President of MOSR and RCA.

Amy joined from Three Six Zero where she was Head of UK Marketing, working on breakout acts including Calvin Harris, Travis Scott, Hurts and Skott.

The new role marks a homecoming for Amy, who started at Sony Music as a production assistant nearly a decade ago – and is now returning to the company that launched her career.

During her initial tenure at Sony Music, Amy worked across labels including RCA, Columbia and Syco Music. As Label Co-ordination Manager for Columbia in 2010 she worked on Tom Odell, Daft Punk, Kasabian and Foo Fighters. After being promoted to Marketing Manager in 2013, Amy was integral in the campaigns for Calvin Harris, MK, Hurts, Leon Bridges and LunchMoney Lewis.

In her new role, Amy will be working on campaigns for artists including London Grammar - who recently enjoyed their first UK No. 1 album – as well as Sigala, DJ Fresh, Louis Berry and latest MOSR signing Yogi.

Amy Wheatley said: “I have always respected what Ministry of Sound Recordings has achieved. The team here is second to none and being able to learn and develop under Dipesh and David is a true honour. It's great to be back in the Sony fold. Ministry's independent success has been impressive, but now, being under the Sony umbrella, we have even more opportunities. This is an amazing opportunity and I'm ready to embrace it.”

Dipesh Parmar said: “Amy has established herself as one of the industry’s rising stars. She is ambitious, strategic and smart. She is the driving force that Ministry needs and I am delighted to have her leading the way for us.”
