Epic were aware of this when we asked them to feature The Fray's smash hit almost 4 months upfront in January 2007. Sure enough, the slot proved the perfect way to introduce many radio and TV people to the song with enough notice to bed the song in with those key contacts before release. After subsequent early plays on BBC Radio 1, it went Top 40 on digital sales alone, the physical release of this record was brought forward in the UK and it went Top 5 here and around Europe.
