We say

We've been folllowing Sivu's progress this year in the Compass pages of the RotD magazine, and it has been a fascinating journey creatively as well as plot-wise. After the innovative MRI-scan video for Better Man Than He went viral in February (500k plays and counting), Bodies revealed an unexpectedly hooky chorus swirling out of intricate atmospherics and glitchy electronica. New single I Lost Myself, just released on Atlantic via his own imprint Static Signals, is both darker and more up-tempo than previous releases, with shades of Jeff Buckley in the verses and another swelling chorus emerging from the esoterica. Press for this track runs the gamut from NME to the Sunday Times, while previous support has come from Best Fit to the Guardian to the Sun. Radio support has been broad too: lots of love from Zane Lowe including a Next Hype, Huw Stephens, Phil & Alice and Jen Long at Radio 1, plus Xfm, 6Music and Radio 2. Concluding a month-long tour with London Grammar at the Electric later this month, Sivu joins Stornoway through December.

London gigs: Brixton Electric, November 28 (supporting London Grammar) / The Lexington, December 11 (Marika Hackman co-headline)
