YPLAN BECOMES THE O2’S GOING OUT APP

London’s going out app and the world’s most popular music venue partner to give customers even more ways to buy tickets

 

The O₂ has announced a new partnership with ‘tonight’s going out app’ YPlan.  The deal sees the service becoming the official “going out partner” of The O₂ and is set to run for three years and be extended to other AEG operated venues.

Launched in London in 2012, YPlan is available for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Android and Kindle Fire.  With a carefully curated list of events available for that night and up to a fortnight in advance, YPlan inspires people to enjoy London like never before. The free app allows users to browse for upcoming gigs, food tastings, theatre shows and gallery exhibitions, meaning they can book tickets to some of the capitals’ best attractions instantly.

YPlan is currently available for residents of London, New York and San Francisco.

The deal was negotiated by AEG Global Partnerships, the sponsorship division of AEG and will include access to events at a range of AEG venues including The O₂, The SSE Arena Wembley and Brooklyn Bowl.
