Roni Size among judges at Samplethon 2015 taking place at London’s world famous Metropolis Studios.

Producers given exclusive access to pre-cleared material from Universal Publishing Production Music’s Bruton Music label.

On Saturday November 28th 2015 WhoSampled will host the second edition of ‘Samplethon’ – the world’s first Hackathon for music producers - in association with Bruton Music and Metropolis Studios. The event is supported by Audeze.

This competition will allow up and coming producers to sample pre-cleared material from the vaults of Universal Publishing Production Music’s famed Bruton Music label. During the one day event hosted at the London’s Metropolis Studios, 20 producers will be given exclusive access to the sought after sample material. Their challenge: to produce a new track using the provided material against the clock, with mentorship from a team of world- class producers, among them Mercury Prize winner Roni Size, Digital Soundboy’s Breakage and The Herbaliser’s Ollie Teeba.

The day will conclude with a judging session where industry experts will choose the winning tracks which will be put forward for inclusion on a forthcoming release alongside tracks created by established producers. That release will also go on to form part of the prestigious Bruton Music library.
