The Young Guns Network celebrates 1st anniversary with massive party, the Ibiza Music Summit and The Great Escape

After 12 months and seven hugely successful events, YGN announces its celebration party at The Social, W1, on April 28 with Keynote Speaker: Fred Bolza - VP Strategy, Sony Music, music from Rob Pursey (Southern Hospitality) & Jamz Supernova (1Xtra), plus drinks deals

Also announced: unique partnership with the Ibiza International Music Summit (IMS), 50% off passes, and student conference session at The Great Escape

Following a truly spectacular year of free networking events, culminating in over 800 connections, the Young Guns Network invites the music industry past, present and future to join the anniversary celebrations, sponsored by Transmit Start-Ups and Blackjack London, at The Social, 5 Little Portland St, London W1, on Monday April 28. RSVP here.

Having spotted a gap in the market for regular networking nights aimed at 18-25 years olds in the music industry, YGN has proven the ongoing tenacity of the future generation, who have filled the events to capacity. Graciously hosted by major labels, industry bodies and a range of high-profile music companies, the past year has seen future managers, agents, consultants and digital pioneers come together to learn and work on exciting new projects. See full list of venues and past events here.

As the initiative steams headfirst into its second year with an Ibiza Music Summit tie-in and Great Escape session in conjunction with BIMM, the party at The Social hopes to thank those who have made it such a triumph and invite those who are yet to experience the relaxed and informal nature of the nights to come and find out what it's all about.

Speaking on the night, and showcasing what the Young Guns Network does best, will be VP Strategy at Sony Music, Fred Bolza. Responsible for the development Sony Music’s strategy in the UK, Bolza runs an in-house marketing services team that helps labels connect artists with the widest possible audiences by offering planning, insight, partnership, digital, social and creative services. In addition, he is responsible for running a small incubator that creates strategic partnerships with selected start-ups.

Music from Rob Pursey (Southern Hospitality) & Jamz Supernova (1Xtra) will be nicely lubricated with 2-for-1 on beer, wine and cocktails before 8pm, so it's advised you arrive early...Plus look out for our sponsors Transmit Start-Ups and Blackjack London. RSVP here.
