Syco Music appoints Michelle Marks as Marketing Director



Syco Music today announces (21/07) the appointment of Michelle Marks as Marketing Director.

In her new role, which is effective immediately, Michelle will report directly to Sonny Takhar, President of Syco Music.

Michelle joins from Red Bee, an entertainment and content marketing agency, where she was Deputy Managing Director, responsible for leading design, digital and multi-platform campaigns across the BBC, as well as brands such as Fox and Disney.

Michelle brings more than 20 years of advertising industry experience to Syco Music. This has seen her work for some of the world’s most successful agencies like Bartle Bogle Hegarty (BBH), Whybin TBWA Sydney and Mother, with iconic brands including Apple, Orange Mobile and Levi’s. 

Michelle said: "I’m thrilled to be joining Syco Music at such an exciting, transitional time in the music industry. I’m looking forward to building on their superb track record for transforming artists into global brands.”
