Sister Ray Records Announces best of 2015 charts
24 November 2015 - Press releaseSister Ray Records, based in Berwick Street, Soho London have announced their highly respected best of 2015 staff chart and also their best-selling top twenty album releases of 2015 across all formats.
Topping the annual staff choice chart are Follakzoid with their album “III”, Steve Sexton from Sister Ray says, “"Drifting out of the Chilean Andes, Follakzoid's "III" enveloped our little corner of Soho in a thick rich cloud of psychedelic fog, with their own take of classic early 70s Germanic experimentalism, motorik drums, swirling synths, and a brooding sense of other dimensions. A worthy album of the year - it's a huge staff favourite, and a record that has been stopping our customers in their tracks whenever it gently cascades from the shop's stereo."
Sister Ray’s owner Phil Barton says, “These charts give a snapshot of life at the record shop, this is what we do, we sell great music and truly hope that people enjoy and value our recommendations”.
