Richer Sounds has launched Richer Unsigned

Richer Sounds, the UK’s leading high street audio-visual company, has launched Richer Unsigned, a music discovery platform.

Richer Unsigned is a not-for-profit website that strives to promote the very best unsigned acts that the UK has to offer, through playlists and online features giving artists a platform with which to help get noticed in the industry.

"At Richer Sounds we’re passionate about music, and our goal is to help great artists get the attention they deserve,” says Julian Richer, CEO of Richer Sounds. "Richer Unsigned is an exciting new curation-based platform that caters to the needs of a shifting landscape in the music industry, and will help nurture both new and existing talent we have in the UK. ”

Richer Unsigned is a unique platform whereby a band can gain a huge level of promotion simply by uploading their music to the site. Tracks are selected by Richer Sounds' in-house team and industry-leading guest curators. These features consist of a monthly 10-track ‘Best Of’ playlist, ‘Track Of The Week’ features and more, from artists based in the UK. Upcoming Curators include Radio 1’s Alice Levine and industry experts at The Unsigned Guide, plus the iconic audio equipment company Marshall.

Richer Unsigned works closely in association with industry leading publication Q Magazine, who hosted a series of debut Richer Unsigned showcases last year. These showcases were a unique opportunity for a handful of competition winning artists who got to play in front of an audience of industry executives, and gained fantastic online and print coverage as a result.

With even more exciting features and live events in the works, we’re certain that Richer Unsigned will become a part of the industry map.
