PRS for Music launches its first mobile app

New mobile app makes searching for music works and royalty statements on-the-go, efficient and easy

The organisation that represents over 100,000 songwriters, composers and music publishers has officially launched its first mobile app.

Available to users with an online account, individuals and organisations can now easily:

  • Check registered works on the PRS for Music database
  • Find detailed copyright information for millions of PRS for Music compositions
  • Search the database by writer, publisher and artist, work number, CAE name and number

Users will also be able to view distribution information while on the move.

Karen Buse, Interim Director Membership & Rights, PRS for Music said: “The new app is part of PRS for Music’s commitment to provide a simple, secure and up to date member experience. Whether you’re at a sync meeting or in the studio, our mobile app enables easy access to millions of musical works.”

The app is available for the most popular iOS and Android smartphones and tablets and can be downloaded for free from the iTunes and Google Play stores.

See the app in action on our YouTube channel.
