PRS for Music Foundation welcomes two new members of staff



 

  • Generator’s Joe Frankland joins as PRS for Music Foundation’s new Industry Fund Manager
  • Flatpack Film Festival’s Flora Ward joins as the new Administrator

PRS for Music Foundation – the UK’s leading charitable funder of new music across all genres – are delighted to welcome two new members of staff, Joe Frankland and Flora Ward. 

Joe has taken up the role of Industry Fund Manager and will be overseeing  the Foundation’s popular Momentum Music Fund run in partnership with Arts Council England and the International Showcase Fund which is supported by Arts Council England, British Underground, UKTI and Musicians Union. Joe will also take care of new opportunities the Foundation is planning to support emerging talent across different genres. Flora joins as the organisation’s Administrator.

Until now Joe had been 5 years at Generator, the music development agency based in the North East, whilst Flora who works in a voluntary capacity with BBC Introducing in Beds Herts Bucks, joins the Foundation from a recent spell at Flatpack Film Festival which takes over venues across Birmingham every March.

Executive Director Vanessa Reed says,

”Joe’s understanding of the music industry and artist development, and Flora’s enthusiasm for music and what we do fit perfectly with what we need at this stage of the Foundation’s development. Their experience of working outside London is also a great asset and will help us to keep ensuring that our support reaches individuals and organisations across every UK region.”
