Italian music crowdfunding specialists Musicraiser have announced the expansion of its operations into the UK and US markets with offices opening in London and New York.
The brainchild of successful Italian musician Giovanni Gulino, of high profile Italian band Marta Sui Tubi, Musicraiser funds music projects and creates bespoke campaigns around artist activity such as record releases and touring. To date over 500 projects have been funded and in excess of 1.6m euros raised by artists using the Musicraiser platform.
Established in October 2012 Musicraiser is an online community where musicians engage directly with their fans to offer them exclusive rewards in return for helping fund their activities and projects. A target is set by the artist and once met the project is considered fully funded. In the unlikely event that the target is not met all funds committed by the ‘raisers’ are reimbursed in full.
Unlike some similar platforms each project is fully bespoke and Musicraiser works closely with artists to ensure that their campaigns run smoothly and that their goals are met wherever possible.
Musicraiser can help musicians fund any number of different projects. Whether it is raising money to record a new album, pre-selling albums or tickets to a nationwide tour or helping film a new ‘Live in Concert’ DVD, Musicraiser can add value.
