McFly choose Absolute Label Services for Anthology Tour live album and box set

McFly have partnered with Absolute Label Services for a special live album recorded throughout this year’s Anthology Tour and released on their own label, Super Records. 

The critically acclaimed band returned to the UK music scene this September with a series of shows in which they played every song they’ve ever recorded.

The new album, titled McFly: Anthology Tour – The Hits Live, will be released on November 25 followed by a limited edition box set (only 2,000 units produced) and special presentation disc (only 1,000 produced) on December 11, with pre-orders from November 25.

The box set contains:

• 5 CDs containing the live recordings of each album performed 

• Bonus ‘Banter’ CD - all the good bits between the songs 

• DVD Documentary featuring exclusive behind the scenes footage filmed during the tour together with an interview with the band 

• Deluxe 60 page hardback book containing incredible backstage and live photos taken during the tour 

• Pair of signed drumsticks (same brand as used by Harry) 

• Set of exclusive Plectrums with designs from Tom, Dougie and Danny

•Official Laminate and Lanyard as used on the tour 

• Set lists

McFly return to Absolute Label Services having previously worked with the company for the release of their 2008 album radio:ACTIVE, which was a Top 10 hit in the UK.

Absolute Label Services Director Simon Wills said: “We’re really pleased to be working with McFly and their management team again. They are all such great guys to work with and make the whole process an enjoyable one.  The album, together with the boxset and awards disc set, is a must for all McFly fans.”

Recorded throughout their Anthology Tour this year and packed with their greatest hits, the 14 track CD and digital release of McFly: Anthology Tour - The Hits Live' includes early songs such as Five Colours In Her Hair and All About You, alongside more recent smashes like Shine A Light and Love Is Easy. 

In addition to the general CD and download release, an exclusive iTunes digital album will be available featuring all 66 songs that the band played across the tour as well as an exclusive video and digital booklet.

The Anthology Tour saw the foursome perform together as McFly for the first time since 2013, when the band went on hiatus for McBusted's two massive arena tours. 

Selling out in 10 minutes, the Anthology Tour included historic rock venues across London, Glasgow, Birmingham and Manchester. In a unique concept, the band played three nights in each city, with each concert featuring a different set list from a different McFly album, alongside some of the band's biggest hits.
