Live UK summit: Masters of the Universe headliners confirmed

THE FIRST participants in the most popular panel at the LIVE UK Summit "Masters of the Universe" have been confirmed.

Solo's John Giddings, of the Isle of Wight Festival founder and agent for the Rolling Stones, Madonna and U2; former AEG Live international president Rob Hallett; CAA's Paul Franklin - agent for Jessie J, The Saturdays, McBusted and Laura Mvula, and The Agency Group's Geoff Meall - agent for Muse, Paramore and Sum 41, will undoubtedly enthral delegates with tales of the unexpected.

Panellists confirmed for The Music Chamber: Politics and Live include MPs Sharon Hodgson and Mike Weatherley, and Lord Tim Clement Jones discuss the threats to small venues and ticket abuse.

Other Summit panels will cover venue, festivals, ticketing, media, brands and digital marketing.

Summit registration is available at £145 + VAT, with the event - held at the Radisson Blu Portman Hotel in London's West End - followed by the Live Music Business Awards.
