UK & European ‘Destination Diva Tour’ Kicks off on Nov 24th 2014 

Gary Catona (The Maestro), legendary vocal trainer, is embarking on a mission to find the world’s next Ultimate Diva and reclaim the word ‘Diva’ from its current corrupted definition. Backed by the Disney-owned Maker Studios, The Maestro will launch a brand new TV show format called ‘The Maestro Presents: The Ultimate Diva'  in March 2015. However, the Destination Diva Tour begins at the end of November 2014, as The Maestro searches for ten talented, famous contestants from the UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain to join him in his Hollywood mansion next year.  Over 12 weeks Maestro Catona will teach the contestants the art and science of being a diva in the true sense of the word, in mind, body, spirit and voice.  To fill these ten places The Maestro is looking for nationally recognised singers, actors and models with established fame in their respective countries. Each contestant will be poised for international stardom and be ready to take centre stage on a global TV platform. Known as the “Voice Builder to the World”, Gary Catona trains, and has trained, many of the world’s greatest singers and entertainers including; Whitney Houston, Andrea Bocelli, Lorde, Tony Bennett, Babyface, Gloria Estefan, Michael McDonald, Sade, Steven Tyler, Brian Wilson, Johnny Mathis, Usher, Shakira, Lionel Richie, Annie Lennox, Toni Braxton, Seal, Boyz II Men, Backstreet Boys, Pharrell Williams, Lenny Kravitz, Gino Vannelli, Draco Rosa, Andy Williams, Liza Minnelli, Earth, Wind & Fire and many many more.*  Following a period researching the mechanics of voice production Gary formulated his revolutionary “voice-building-system”, which he defines as the systematic process for building the muscles of the voice.  He first gained notoriety when he built back the voice of a popular Texan singer named, Johnny Bush, who had lost his speaking and singing voice fourteen years earlier because of a vocal disorder called spasmodic dysphonia.  When Bush’s voice made a startling recovery after only ten voice-building sessions, Catona’s name spread nationally.

Maestro Catona’s most ambitious project to date will be ‘The Maestro Presents: The Ultimate Diva’, which will be an internet-based, non-scripted, competition show that travels across the globe to find, create, and cultivate great “Divas”, in the artistic mould of Whitney Houston.  According to Maestro Catona, “When Whitney Houston died, the ‘Diva Flame’ was extinguished.”  The Maestro firmly believes that “the ‘Diva Flame’ must be re-ignited.”

‘The Maestro Presents: The Ultimate Diva’ is not open to the general public. Maestro Catona is specifically seeking nationally famous artists and performers with social media communities of one million or more who are looking for the chance to take their career to the next level with a global TV platform and the backing of Maestro Catona and his cast of celebrity mentors and former students.
