JON BILLS FORMS NEW MUSIC PR AGENCY - BILLS PR



Jon Bills has announced the formation of Bills PR - a brand new cross-platform music publicity agency. Jon brings with him 14 years of Music PR experience, both from major label and agency environments. 

Notable early additions to the Bills PR roster are electronic music trailblazers Axwell & Ingrosso, Eric Prydz and multi-million selling superstar Taio Cruz. New artists include hotly tipped band X&Y, and The Young Professionals, who have recently received support from The Guardian and Popjustice.

Bills started his music PR career in 2001, interning at Gut Records along with various other labels and PR companies. In 2003 he joined Parlophone Records where, working in the press office, he was instrumental in creating the online publicity arm of the label. He left in 2008 to join Murray Chalmers PR, where he latterly held the position of PR Manager.

During his career, Jon has worked on campaigns for an incredibly diverse range of artists, including: Paloma Faith, James Blunt, Pet Shop Boys, Kylie, Coldplay, Suede, Roisin Murphy, Lily Allen and Olly Murs.

Jon said: “I am incredibly excited about this new chapter in my career. The industry has changed irrevocably since I started, and I believe that PR agencies and the service we provide needs to too. I am building a fresh roster, which includes thrilling new talent as well as established artists. I intend for the agency to remain agile to the market, and offer a tailored service to clients. I am exploring new ways to work with artists, labels and managers - remaining flexible at every stage of a campaign, project or career”.
