COOKING VINYL SIGN FEEDER

London, July 15th 2016 – Leading independent record label Cooking Vinyl have announced that they have signed a Worldwide Artist Services deal with FEEDER.

Established in 1986, Cooking Vinyl has developed a reputation as one of Europe’s prime artist-focused independent labels, inspiring an enviable loyalty among its artist roster that includes the likes of Marilyn Manson, Billy Bragg, Röyksopp, Madness, James, Gary Numan & The Prodigy to name just a few. 2016 looks set to continue the label’s success with new offerings from The Cult, Lissie, Richard Ashcroft, Turin Brakes and now with FEEDER’s brand new record ‘All Bright Electric’ which is set for release on 30th September.

Rob Collins; director of Cooking Vinyl commented:

“Feeder are a great British band and have returned with album that’s up there with their best.  From 1995 Feeder have gone the distance, while other British alternative rock bands of the 90s crashed or faded".

FEEDER first shot to fame when their debut EP ‘Swim’ was released to huge critical acclaim in 1996. Since then they’ve had 25 Top 40 hits with the likes of ‘Feeling A Moment, ‘Just The Way I’m Feeling’, ‘Just A Day’ and ‘Buck Rogers’ and amassed over 5 million record sales along with 3 Platinum and 2 Gold Albums.

FEEDER’s recently announced Autumn tour will see the band revisit some of their biggest hits whilst also performing tracks from their forthcoming album ‘All Bright Electric’ – their first release with Cooking Vinyl.

On signing to Cooking Vinyl, Feeder’s frontman Grant Nicholas added:

We are very excited to be working alongside Rob, Chris, Martin and the team at Cooking Vinyl on All Bright Electric. There are many options for a band like Feeder and the ambition and fit at Cooking Vinyl both here and internationally was just what we were looking for. In our opinion this is the best Feeder album yet. A best of Feeder all encapsulated in one new album…”

FEEDER’s tour kicks off at O2 ABC Glasgow on September 28th and will see the band visit a number of the UK’s best-loved venues such as the O2 Ritz in Manchester, London’s Roundhouse and Nottingham Rock City before concluding at The Lemon Grove in Exeter on the 20th October.

The first single from ‘All Bright Electric’ will be ‘Universe of Lifea low-slung, blistering onslaught of huge riffs that paves the way for FEEDER’s confident new sound. It’s a true statement of intent representing an even bigger, more exciting FEEDER who have found both a fresh lease of life in making this breathtaking new record and the perfect record label to release it withCheck out the Universe of Life’ video here.
