16 April 2014 - Press release- David Gray’s new album ‘Mutineers’ due 30th June
- Released on Gray’s own IHT Records via KLS
Christian Tattersfield’s Good Soldier Songs has signed a publishing deal for the world (excluding America) with British singer-songwriter David Gray for his forthcoming new studio album Mutineers.
The deal reunites the former Warner Music UK CEO with Gray, having originally signed the singer-songwriter to eastwest/Warner Music for his breakout multi-platinum hit White Ladder in 2000 and two subsequent UK No.1 albums: A New Day At Midnight and Life In Slow Motion.
Recorded at The Church Studios in London and produced by Andy Barlow (Lamb), Mutineers is Gray’s tenth studio album and his first in four years. Gray will trigger the release with a sold-out North American tour across April and May, following up with an eight-date headline UK tour in June and July including a show at London’s Royal Albert Hall on June 24.
Mutineers will be released through a worldwide label services agreement with Gray’s own IHT Record and Kobalt Label Services (KLS).
David Gray said: “It’s great to have Christian involved again. He’s someone who’s opinion I trust, and when he says he’s going to do something, he does it properly.”
Said Good Soldier Songs’ CEO, Christian Tattersfield: “’Mutineers’ is a creative and iconic high point in David's career. It's a privilege for Good Soldier Songs to be part of the team.”
