CHRISTIAN BARTON PROMOTED TO FINANCE DIRECTOR

It is announced today that Christian Barton, Financial Controller, is appointed Finance Director, PPL. This will take effect when Ben Lambert, currently CFO, steps down in July.

Christian joined PPL as Financial Analyst and was then promoted to his current role in 2009. Prior to joining PPL, he spent 5 years in the publishing industry at Haymarket and Conde Nast in various management accounts roles

“Christian has been working under Ben for 9 years and so is very experienced in PPL’s operations and finances,” said Peter Leathem. “Christian has been a star performer at PPL for some time and, as succession planning is something on which I have been very focussed, I am delighted that we are able to promote from within and offer him this career progression with the opportunity now arising.”
