HARMAN TO DELIVER KEYNOTE AT BPI AGM

BPI is pleased to announce that the Shadow Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, Harriet Harman MP, will deliver the keynote address at its AGM on Tuesday 3rd July 2012 at BAFTA, the home of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.

Harriet Harman QC MP is Shadow Deputy Prime Minister, Chair of the Labour Party, and has served as Deputy Leader of the Labour Party since 2007.

Guests will also hear from leading British creative figures including Academy-award winning film director of The King’s Speech, Tom Hooper. Further speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.

The Annual Conference for Members (ACM) will commence at 11.00am and will include a presentation by YouTube and a Dragons Den-style pitch for new music digital start ups.

The ACM will be followed by a buffet lunch with speeches and the formal proceedings of the AGM re-commencing at 2.00pm.
