Jazz FM seeks a Live Manager

Jazz FM is the only UK radio dedicated to Jazz, Soul and Blues with a 565 000 weekly listeners. Over the last few years Jazz FM has developed a Live business division promoting regular weekly shows as well as national tours , corporate events and special Live projects. Jazz FM has worked with new emerging artists as well as leading international artists such as Al Jarrau, Marcus Miller, Dionne Warwick..
Jazz FM is looking for Live manager, a new position within the organisation, to help us develop our growing business.

The successful candidate will need to have some experience working in the Live business, ideally promoting live music events. The Live manager will be reporting to the Head Of live and should also be comfortable in dealing with corporate events as well public performances.

Responsibilities:
  • Market and promote our live events.
  • Develop and implement marketing and promotional plans for each of the Jazz FM Live events. 
  • Experienced in digital/social networking marketing and promotion. 
  • Booking Administration
  • Coordinating production requirements (logistics.)
  • Artists liaison
  • General administrative support to the head of Live and Financial Director
  • Weekly and post event reporting
  • Presence at the live events 
Required Skills:
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Independent
  • Passion for Jazz is a plus
  • Integrity and Energy!
Terms:
  • This is a full time position 
  • The offices are based in London
  • The potholder will be required to work evenings and week ends 
  • Salary circa £18K
